Kneipp WORLDWIDE in ‘the land of wonder’
After intensive preparations Kneipp Association of South Korea was confirmed as a new member at the presidential council and general assembly of Kneipp WORLDWIDE in March. The young association will set up honorary structures in South Korea and has set itself the goal of launching a Kneipp movement to implement Kneipp's naturopathic treatment in nursery schools and senior citizen facilities. In the longer term, they also intend to build a spa according to Kneipp traditions, in South Korea.
Ingeborg Pongratz was confirmed by the General Assembly as the new President of Kneipp WORLDWIDE, just like the president of the Kneipp Association Klaus Holetschek as member of the Presidential Council. "I am pleased to advance the Kneipp health internationally. As a convinced Kneipp health ambassador, it is very important to me to raise the sense of responsibility of our fellow human beings for an active and healthy life. Health is and remains our highest asset, "said President Ingeborg Pongratz.
Furthermore, they spoke about the successful International Kneipp Action Days 2017 (I.K.A.T.) in Styria. The I.K.A.T. organizing team of Anne and Peter Knoll, Gerd Krakowitzer and Karl Huber have done a great job according to President Ingeborg Pongratz.
The prospect of the next International Kneipp Action Days makes one look forward to the next event in Sárvár, Hungary from 20 to 23 June 2019. Dr Károly Garda from the Hungarian Kneipp Association gave a first insight into the planning and said that he looks forward to hosting many Kneipp fans from all over the world. In addition, Paul Gruschka, mayor of Bad Wörishofen promised that the International Kneipp Action Days 2021, in the year of the 200th birthday of Sebastian Kneipp, will be held in Bad Wörishofen.
