Since its founding in 1962, more than 50 years ago, Kneipp Worldwide has been committed  to increasing prevention and health promotion as well as to expanding the knowledge and practice of the Kneipp natural healing methods worldwide.
Our goal is to preserve and mainain Sebastian Kneipp's holistic health approach and thus to make a healthy Kneipp lifestyle possible for everyone around the globe.

To this end, we keep a network with international organizations, in particular the World Health Organization (WHO) and relevant bodies of the European Union (EU). Within our umbrella organization, we promote international cooperation and the exchange of experiences with one another, support capacity building in individual countries and coordinate cooperation with the medical profession, pharmacies, other health professions, health resorts and spa facilities as well as players in the public health system, the media and the economy.

Today, “Kneipp” is no longer only known in Europe, but also in countries on other continents, including Canada, the USA, Malawi and South Korea. The national UNESCO commissions in Germany and Austria have now included “ Kneipp as traditional knowledge and practice according to the teachings of Sebastian Kneipp ” in their national registers of intangible cultural heritage. 

The activities of Kneipp Worldwide are selfless and do not pursue any economic purposes. The Association is currently funded by membership fees only.
